Café Bustelo

Está Aquí

Café Bustelo naturally lives in culture. People repurpose their Bustelo cans as planters, paint the beloved Angelina logo on their nails and create stickers to rep the brand. It was time for Café Bustelo to tap into this creativity and passion, better representing young Latinx coffee drinkers. So, we unlocked the ‘Cafe Bustelo Está Aquí’ (Cafe Bustelo is here) campaign.

Our films represent authentic Latinx moments: from classic Dominican music cars to reimagining the traditional game of dominoes. We leveraged Bustelo’s iconic colors: yellow, red and blue to create an illustrated world of flat 2D environments and 3D enhancements to our characters and product. Our main character, Lina, was inspired by Angelina, the face on the Bustelo can. A proud Latina unafraid to express her creativity.

CASE STUDIES

FILMS

ORIGINAL SONG

We partnered with Argentinian artist, Mia Mahotoney, to create an original full length track to use across all campaign assets, leveraging the sounds of Latin pop and reggaeton.

RADIO

Inspired by the various genres within Latin music, we created :30 and :15 radio spots to tell a story of Bustelo’s delicious coffee on Spotify and Pandora.

SOCIAL

To accompany the films, we created unique social assets to extend our new Bustelo look and feel.  A combination of product centric and Latinx holiday specific posts.
